DCL’s electric 3-way ball valves with clamp connection design are widely used in the water-cooling systems of wind power installations.

Wind farms are typically located in harsh environments such as offshore areas, mountain tops, and deserts, where conditions can include strong winds, extreme temperatures, and air containing salt or sulfur compounds. Routine inspection and maintenance in such environments are often difficult or even impossible. Therefore, equipment used in wind farms must feature exceptional stability and durability, with a service life of at least 8–10 years.

DCL electric actuators are built to meet these demanding conditions and have successfully passed a series of rigorous environmental reliability tests, including:

• Start-up tests at -40°C and 60°C

To ensure leak-free operation even after frequent switching, DCL’s 3-way clamp-type stainless steel ball valves adopt a gland structure with a triple sealing ring design. The clamp connection allows for quick installation and easy replacement during maintenance.
